Forgotten Cartoon Villians of the 90’s

5. Skullmaster from Mighty Max

Our little beloved Mighty Max toy brought to life in his very own cartoon. How could one not get behind this great collection of monster battles. Skullmaster, the main villian for the series was sure to strike fear into the souls of children. His insane obsession with sending the world into darkness lead him to be number 5 on our list.

4. The Collector from Bonkers

This charaxter was obviously a total rip off from Roger Rabbit. I mean really a villian who collected toons, way to be discrete. They even went as far as making him the complete opposite from Judge Doom (Who Framed Rodger Rabbit), by revealing at the end he was just a human disguised as a cartoon. (Judge Doom was a toon dresses as a human). The collector also wore a glove with pencil fingers which many believe was a throwback to Freddy Krueger. These nice tie ins from classic movies is what throws the collector into our collection of villains (see what I did there) at number 4

3. Professor Monkey-For-A-Head From Earthworm Jim

The Professor graces our list as one of the more unusual villians in a 90’s cartoon. Earthworm Jim was an all around wacky series featuring a variety of weird villains, but the Professor makes the list as the main villian in my heart as he was the entire reason Jim was the super hero in the first place. Basically he wasn’t his origin story. The professor made the suit that ultimately fell into Earthworm Jim’s hands...or body I guess since he is a worm...causing him to become great. This mistake puts him in at number 3 on our list.

2. The Lobe from Freakazoid

The Lobe is a super genius who had a huge brain for a head...really what more explanation is needed. This akward relationship between Freakazoid and Thr Lobe stems (pun intended) back to a time when Freakazoid called The Lobe stupid. This one moment gave him a lifetime of insecurities and causes him to pine for Freakazoid attention. This villian stalker comes in at number 2 on our list for his shear ballsack appearance.

1. Megavolt from Darkwing Duck

The Darkwing Duck series had to be one of my favorites as a child. I had a full dress up costume complete with duck bill and all. I always dreamed of fighting Megavolt and his electrokinesis powers. His inability to leave anything electric (lightbulbs, toasters, etc) under the enslavement of humans was way before his time. This watty (it’s like witty, but with electric) villian tips our list today for his spark of evil...oh any other pun. I’m killing it today.
